What did we learn today: The Black Tuesday edition

Special edition of What did we learn today. Its been a bad day at the home office, here are a couple of things that we learned:

• In times like this, i think we need to turn to the wise words of Wilson Phillips who sing a song that urges us to hold on for one more day.
• I learned that ET on Barnegat is hiring.

What did we learn today: Nov. 18

Took a couple of days off, now we are back:

• I learned that the application process is harder for Yale then being Sectary of State.
• I learned that having a HD DVR is amazing.
  

What did we learn today: Nov. 12

Yesterday we did not learn anything, but today has been different:

• I think that I learned that I attended Lilith Fair today.
• I learned that we can clean up this place all we want, it will still be a crap-hole and we will still probably lose our jobs.
• I learned that the stupid story I'm writing has been given much more importance than it deserves.

What did we learn today: Nov. 10

The weekend is over and were are getting back to the learning:

• I learned that I'm very predictable.
• I learned today i kinda sorta hate my life.
• I have now learned that you should not jump up and down while watching a presidential victory speech, lest you go into labor

What did we learn today: Nov. 5

What a let down, here are some of things that we learned on "let down day:"

• I learned that today feels like the day after Christmas only without the new toys.
  
• I learned that Will I Am isn't really used to being a hologram.
• I learned that parents do not understand that there children work for a living, traditionally from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What did we learn today: Nov. 4

Its the Election Day and that can mean only one thing, food, food and votes. Here are some of things that we learned today:

• I learned that we will all have a new president and a new waste line after tonight is over.
  
• I learned that some co-workers are never allowed to pick online videos again.
  
• I learned that our company is a non-profit.
  
• I learned that even the captain of the chess team can talk the prom queen into bed.
• I learned I need sleep.
  

What did we learn today: Nov. 3

Back in the flow and we all learned a bunch of things

• Some photographers got kicked out of high school.
  
• Fisherman are friendly and like to talk a lot.
  
• I learned that I could go shake someone down in my outfit.
• Bow and Arrow = hostage situation.

What did we learn today: Oct. 30

Its almost Halloween and here is what we learned today:

• I learned that using the word schenanigans in a story means 10 bonus point.
• I learned that jersey devil folk music can sound and awful lot like stairway to heaven.
• I learned that I work with Peter Gammons.
• I learned that my life is turning into a Hugh Grant movie.

What did we learn today: Oct. 29

The World Series is supposed to start up again today and there is plenty to learn. Here are a couple of things that we learned.

• I learned today that I really am a boring person.
  
• I learned that some people do not like loud noises.
• I learned that the the sky is falling and the question now is how many people will be left to cover it.
• I learned that mothers who love their children make real pasta.
• I learned that I'm seriously considering going to WaWa for a hot chocolate because its frickin freezing in here Mr. Bigglesworth.

Stressful day, here are some of the things that we learned:

• I learned that I work with Tom Cruise from Cocktail and never knew it.
  
• I learned that we are all screwed.
  
• I learned that illegals are taking all of the local prostitution jobs.
  
• I learned that my fancy journalism degree is worth nothing, but an email.
• I learned my cubicle mate can't make it through an 8 hour work day without a nap.

Its just another Monday at the office, so the ideas are not flowing but here are a couple:

• I learned that I kick ass at writing books for illiterate third graders. That is from a former office member that moved on.
  
• I learned that we all meds.
  
• If I could somehow summon my headphones to fly here from Lavallette, I totally would.
