What did we learn today: October 2008

Its almost Halloween and here is what we learned today:

I learned that using the word schenanigans in a story means 10 bonus point.
I learned that jersey devil folk music can sound and awful lot like stairway to heaven.
I learned that I work with Peter Gammons.
I learned that my life is turning into a Hugh Grant movie.

The World Series is supposed to start up again today and there is plenty to learn. Here are a couple of things that we learned.

I learned today that I really am a boring person.
I learned that some people do not like loud noises.
I learned that the the sky is falling and the question now is how many people will be left to cover it.
I learned that mothers who love their children make real pasta.
I learned that I'm seriously considering going to WaWa for a hot chocolate because its frickin freezing in here Mr. Bigglesworth.

Stressful day, here are some of the things that we learned:

I learned that I work with Tom Cruise from Cocktail and never knew it.
I learned that we are all screwed.
I learned that illegals are taking all of the local prostitution jobs.
I learned that my fancy journalism degree is worth nothing, but an email.
I learned my cubicle mate can't make it through an 8 hour work day without a nap.

Its just another Monday at the office, so the ideas are not flowing but here are a couple:

I learned that I kick ass at writing books for illiterate third graders. That is from a former office member that moved on.
I learned that we all meds.
If I could somehow summon my headphones to fly here from Lavallette, I totally would.
